Understand impacts across the life cycle.

Use life cycle assessment to examine environmental trade-offs and support product, process and procurement decisions.

Discuss your requirements

Typical challenges

A change in material or process can shift impacts between life-cycle stages or impact categories. Incomplete supplier data can obscure the significance of those trade-offs.

When support is useful

During product development, material selection and process improvement, or when a customer needs a transparent assessment with defined limitations.

What the process includes

Goal and scope definition; functional unit and system boundaries; life-cycle inventory; impact assessment; interpretation, sensitivity analysis and decision support, guided by ISO 14040 and ISO 14044.

Typical deliverables

A scope document, inventory and data-quality record, model assumptions, impact results, interpretation and a report of limitations and improvement opportunities.

Practical value and boundaries

Identify significant contributors and make better-informed comparisons. Public comparative assertions may require critical review; an LCA study alone is not an EPD, product certification or proof of overall sustainability.
